We stayed here in September which is off Rainy) season, we actually enjoyed the random downpours which didn’t last that long, another upside to going in offseason was there were only 2 other families there, we practically had the place to ourselves.
A better offseason time to go would be May as you still get the heat from the sun but not as many tourists will be there.
We chose a Deluxe Studio room because it had its own large, private balcony with daybeds and you can step outside the room and dive straight into the pool.
There are two swimming pools to choose from. The lap pool, which is connected to some rooms and the resort pool “photo in the featured image”.
Breakfast is served with a stunning clifftop view, at The Peak, overlooking the Andaman Sea and Phi-Phi beach. They have a buffet style breakfast offering both Western and Asian dishes.
The Reggae Bar is spectacular, it’s located on the seaside rocks which make for an amazing sunset view. Sitting here with drinks and nibbles makes you forget about all your worries as you relax into the space.
If you want to feel even more relaxed the Infinity Spa is situated in a peaceful, private suite within the hotel and has treatments to pamper you from head to toe. Whether you’re after a mani/pedi, facial or full body treatment.
There is a free shuttle service into Saladan which is great as there are a wide variety of restaurants and shopping to explore in this quaint seaside village.
While it’s difficult to fault this peaceful, stunning and luxurious resort, here are a few things to think about.
The resort itself is located on a small hill which means going to and from places around the resort you may encounter some steep areas.
There’s not much you can do with younger children like our kids’ ages “3 & 4” this is better suited to children who can entertain themselves.
